Smoked Salmon on the Barbecue

Salmon is one of the worlds healthiest and tastiest of fish. There are literally hundreds of ways to cook this fish and even more ways to serve it, any which you choose this barbecue method will enhance the meal. At any grocery store one can find a one inch thick wood cedar plank. Purchase this and submerge it in water for a minimum of four hours to ensure it is saturated all the way through, the longer the better though don't worry about over soaking, however eight to ten though is more than enough. Then take the salmon and lay it on the plant of wood. Put this in the barbecue and keep it at about 375 degrees. The salmon will cook slowly and beautifully, if you have a piece of fish with skin on it even better lay it skin side down and the natural juices will stay with the fish.
