Cooking Up A Mean Tuna BBQ Steak

Cooking Up A Mean Tuna BBQ Steak

Not all barbecue recipes call for pork or beef. Seafood constitutes a healthy serving of the best barbecue recipes on the planet, with fish, particularly mouth-watering tuna, making the list often. While there are over a dozen ways you can barbecue tuna steaks, the most popular ones involve marinating the fish in a concoction of either soy sauce, lemon juice, and meat seasoning or lemon, basil, garlic and chili flakes, and then grilling the steaks indoors on a heavy grilling plate.

Before setting the tuna steaks on the plate, make sure the heavy grilling plate or pan is pre-heated to a desirable temperature to cook the fish. When grilling indoors, make sure the windows in your kitchen are open. When the hot plate is ready, slap the steaks on it and grill them for two minutes for medium rare and three to five minutes for well done. Tuna barbecue steaks go well with something as simple as a dip made of soy sauce and vinegar and side dishes of baked potatoes and green salad.
